I host a weekly General Knowledge Quiz in Leeds, which has General Knowledge Quiz questions, picture quiz questions on different topics every week, and a music round which is always a lot of fun. I also host Themed Quizzes, and Speciality Quizzes all over Leeds, York, and Wakefield. These quizzes include plenty of movie trivia quizzes such as a Star Wars quiz, Marvel quiz, Harry Potter trivia quiz. Also quizzes on TV shows such as a Game of Thrones quiz, Friends trivia quiz, Stranger Things quiz, Scooby-Doo quiz. In Wakefield I host quizzes at the venue Dungeons & Donuts.

Dungeons & Donuts is a wonderfully geeky venue. Located right on Kirkgate is the most magical hideaway for gamers, geeks, and coffee lovers alike, and is easy to spot with its bright yellow sign. Perfect for anyone who enjoys playing board games, table top games, or quizzes.

As a gaming café, they have a huge selection of games to choose from. With just a small fee to play games there, it really is worth it to come down and play here. The owner, Andy, is very knowledgeable about the games he has and will even join in a game should you need an additional player. The board game social nights on Tuesday evenings allow customers to come as a group or alone and join a very welcoming atmosphere. Games include classics such as Cluedo, Ticket to Ride, and Carcassonne. Also some very fun games you may like to try such as Munchkin and Happy Little Dinosaurs.

Dungeons & Donuts host 40K tournaments and casual play nights for Warhammer. Bring your own miniature models, play a fun tabletop game, or even join in on a paint session. They have a dedicated space built for hobbyists. With UKTC terrain, spacious layouts, and a welcoming community.

Need a party? Join one of the D&D meet and greet sessions, no experience required. Just bring your imagination. They also run Dungeon Master workshops to teach you how to become your own DM. They can even provide a Dungeons and Dragons  character sheet. Check out the retail side of the café and purchase your own set of D&D dice and get ready to roll a Nat 20. 

They also offer a quiet study and work space. Perfect for students, freelancers, and anyone needing a calm spot to focus. With comfortable seating, and free Wi-Fi, the space is perfect as a peaceful hideaway during the day.

The menu has a D&D theme which fits perfectly with the vibe of the venue and I really enjoyed it. Including drinks such as Wizard’s Milk, Dwarven Froth, and Cleric’s Calm which are regular coffee drinks but with a fun theme. Some delicious sandwiches and paninis include Firefang Fowl, and Oceanblade Melt which are meat based. Also Eggward the Bold, and Elven Garden Melt which are vegetarian.
Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. The coffee and food I had was also very tasty. Also with fresh donuts, and tasty treats there is plenty for those with a sweet tooth. They also offer gluten free options for sandwiches and sweet treats.

It is accessible via the main street. It is on the main street on Kirkgate. There is parking just behind the venue in Thornhill Street Car Park which is free for the first two hours and then free after 6pm. So you can actually park here for free from 4pm. Wakefield Kirkgate train station is a 5 minute walk from the venue.
Highly recommended this welcoming, fun, friendly, and nerdy venue.
